St. Cyprian Elementary School Reviews

Being a graduate of Saint Cyprian and now attending SJHS I realize how much I have learned and how much I have strenghthened my faith being a part of the Saint Cyprian school community. The teachers there are wonderful and really care about you. The principal is doing wonderful job running the school and keeping everything in balance. The extracurricular activities are always safe and the parents are always involved. The afterschool care is a huge help to many parents and is always available. Overall Saint Cyprian is a great school and really prepares students for high school.

Highly respected for its academics and caring staff. Holds true to the outstanding reputation of Catholic education. Most of the staff has advance degrees and the principal does an amazing job utilizing the strengths of individual teachers to build a strong curriculum. Program includes music, art, computers along with a variety of sports and after-school care programs. Actively involved parents and a supportive parish community fosters an environment of excellence.

This is a very faith-base school and the staff cares about the students, especially in day care. However, the principal seemed to institute changes her first year without parental input, just because that's what she was used to as SMM, her previous school.

I attended St Cyprian School for 9 years, and now I am a student at Saint Joseph High School. I absolutely love Saint Cyprian, I still keep in touch with the faculty and staff. It is such a small school that the teachers care. The principal is wonderful. After graduating I realized that St Cyprian is somewhat behind where education is concerned, if they were to step it up then I am sure that St Cyprian would be better then the best. You just can't get the same kind of love from any other school.

Excellent academics and caring faculty and administration. Over 250 years of teaching experience among 14 teachers. The only negative is: there is no parish priest involvement in the classrooms.

I heard a lot of good things about this school, but was quickly disappointed when my student enrolled. It is very sad indeed that the first year of school the students do not get a warm and friendly teacher, but one that [it seems] feels the need to be extremely strict and controlling. I am totally honest when I say this, the whole time my child was at school there, not one time did I receive a positive comment from his teacher. The afterschool care, on the other hand is great. The only reason I kept my student there so long was because of them. You could tell they truly cared for your child. It's a shame they aren't recognized more at school events such as back to school night.

Good school very friendly staff. The teachers are great and well verse in educating young minds. I love the community involvment that happens at the school....Wonderful school

I have been a part of the Saint Cyprian community for 12 years. I graduated from SC and attend SJHS now. This elementary school has gone through a lot of changes over the years and I feel that it has lost a lot of its pizzazz. The extracurricular activities are not what they used to be and the teachers are not always qualified or good for that matter. The leadership is wavering and I can see my younger sibling suffering. The academics of this school are not up to speed with the other local Catholic schools and from personal experience and observance, I can say that the school does not nuture the gifts of the students and I am glad that I went to such a good high school because I don't know if I would have excelled somewhere else because of the lack of guidance, challenges and opportunities at SC

This is a quality Catholic school with high values, high academics and high athletics. As an alumnus of the school and with my oldest there now, I could not be happier. And, St. Cyprian is always one of the top feeder schools for our catholic high school--St. John Bosco. The community is strong and well supported as well. We have been welcome from the moment we stepped on campus; we would not send our 2 children any where else.

Great quality of academic programs, not a lot of extracurricular activities.
